About Jaqueline ... Jackie Weisgarber is a Public Affairs Specialist based in Richmond Virginia and covers Social Security outreach and education throughout Central and Southwest Virginia. Jackie implements Social Security’s communications plan through local, regional, and national outreach and works closely with the Philadelphia Regional Communications Office and the Area’s Directors office while supporting several SSA field offices throughout Virginia.
She was previously a Claims Specialist for 10 years based in the Charleston, SC field office where she implemented Social Security policy, adjudicated over 10,000 claims and managed special projects while serving the public with compassion, courtesy, and respect.
Prior to joining Social Security Jackie was a Project Manager for a health benefits technology firm and a PR Specialist for a nonprofit. Jackie has a bachelor’s in journalism from The University of South Carolina and a master’s in public administration from The College of Charleston.

Our course (230366) is a Non-Company/Non-Agency sponsored virtual course (no test) approved for 1-hour OGI CE credit in Virginia. Please note that this is a Virtual Meeting powered by Zoom. In order to get CE credit your system requirements must include a computer or device that allows you to view the presentation (visual capability) and offers audio capability. Meaning you can't receive credit if you just dial in. You'll be asked to answer questions when prompted.
